Small Electric Vehicles

If you are waiting for big electric cars, and if you think they will have a positive impact on the energy crisis you are dreaming! If you think that the status quo will be maintained by solar and wind energy, you are woefully ignorant. If you do not admit to being insane, you are going to remain insane! The only way out of insanity is through knowledge and action.

There are a lot of these little plastic cars getting ready to flood the market because energy is about to become incredibly expensive. In fact it has been insanely expensive for a long time, but the corporate masters have been telling you that you are not going to have to pay for the environmental damage caused by their fossil fuels used by every-one even if they don't have a car. Our whole culture is using way more energy than it needs.

It is true that the plastic parts can be made from soybean oil but if the farming practices are as deadly as they are now, nothing will change. It would take a lot less energy to commute on a bus and a folding electric bike. I found one that has an inclosed belt drive that is so lightweight and foldable [GoCycle]. Folding makes them easier to take onto public transit.

Energy use is going to change drastically very soon. And jobs are going to be very few unless you can create your own niche. So people that know how to build minimalist vehicles are going to have a job even if they won't get rich from it. Fools that think they can get rich are dangerously insane and need to go to a mental hospital now.

Buildings will change to a 'net-zero carbon output', but not fast enough. Food production must change to local biointensive market gardens. If the filthy rich doesn't put up the money for maglev trains they will have nothing to invest in.

If there is one good thing about the Covid 19 pandemic it is that every one is finding out how unprepared we are for change. Start changing now before it is too late.

If you are not a hopeless pacifist you should watch these videos to shock yourself out of your passive denial. And then when you survive your depression you can be motivated to do something to help positive change happen, like join the 20/20 energy decent think tank. It starts with passing on the knowledge that things are not what the corporate masters claim.
