If you understand that corporations run the world now, you will understand that America is a fascist state already. And the only way to cut through that is to own your own jobs collectively. Capitalism's slow disaster of turning everything into private property so the corporate masters can own everything will not work, eventually the natural guards of the system will revolt. Without blind obedience of the underclass the rich cannot survive! But they do know how to brain-wash people so well.
The only way to fight back is to create your own jobs, start building small vehicles that can replace a car. The luxury addiction to cars that people have are on their way out. You don't need to invent new cycles and don't worry about copyrights; bicycles can be changed very easy.
Think about what it will take to create our own green economy!
Too bad that there are so many people that can't think about how to change without getting depressed. Anything that triggers their feelings of hopelessness is just too frightening. So they take drugs to feel good. What we need is a movement to fell good about changing peoples transportation life style.
And we need a people to teach others to fight back agents fascism.
Remember that robots cannot think for themselves yet. So hand-made custom-designed minimalist transportation can still be made by humans. And it is not true that factories can make them cheaper at the same quality. They usually use cheaper parts and end up with a crappy machine that has to be rebuilt, if even possible.
