This book tells how green technology has become a national security imperative. American's must get off their fossil fuel drugs and into solar, wind, ocean and muscle power. It tells how the whole world is addicted to petroleum and how it is funding the demise of our democracy; how the oil baron's are feeding money into the religious fanatics that want to destroy America.
It talks about how Affluenza has become a pandemic and how it destroys the economy of the countries that lets it run rampant. Then it tells us what to do about it. And how we Americans need to set the perfect example of revolting against the imperialist masters that feed us oil for breakfast, and how we need to lead the world into a cleaner future. Give this audio-book to someone that gives a damn about doing something to prevent the collapse of the environment and the economy. When the economy collapses the rich get richer and everyone else suffers, especially if you drive a petroleum powered vehicle.

The robber barons claim they want a free market and that it will take care of itself. This is one of the biggest lies ever. If you want a market to take care of the proletariat you have to design it to do that, and then give it the right kind of help, like tax incentives to actually reduce carbon output. What we need is a kind of “space race” competition but for clean energy.
